Canon Rex Hack




REX HEREWARD HACK became the Fourth Vicar of Bramhall in December 1969 having previously served as Vicar of Norton Cuckney in the Diocese of Southwell, and as Assistant Curate of Ellesmere Port and of Ashton upon Mersey. On Sunday 19th December 2010, celebrating the 50th Anniversary of his Ordination to the Priesthood, Canon Rex presided and preached at a Celebration of the Eucharist in Bramhall Parish Church, assisted by the Sixth Vicar of Bramhall, Fr Simon Marsh, and by his former assistant priest and Bramhall GP, Fr John Roskilly. Canon Rex officiates at St Michael’s from time to time and he and Barbara live in retirement in Bramhall.
